Packraft Rangers and Guides Wanted for Spring and Summer 2025

For the upcoming season, we are looking for enthusiastic German speaking Packraft Rangers and Guides to join our unique micro-adventures for several weeks or months in the French Ardennes, Luxembourg, Bavaria, or the Biesbosch. After gaining at least three weeks of experience on our micro-adventures, you’ll have the opportunity to join one of our week-long trips in Slovenia or the Balkans as a guide.

What are your tasks as a Ranger/Guide?

As a Ranger/Guide, you are not only a host but also the main point of contact for our enthusiastic packrafters. You will welcome participants, give clear briefings, and be available to answer questions and provide support. You’ll ensure the basecamp stays organized and that sufficient equipment and food packs are available at all times.Your tasks at a glance:

• Welcoming and registering participants
• Distributing and explaining the equipment
• Conducting briefings about packrafting and the routes
• Being available for questions and providing support
• Ensuring participant safety
• Problem-solving when needed
• Keeping the basecamp clean and organized
• Providing logistical support
• As a guide in Slovenia/the Balkans: Leading participants from point A to B – both on the trail and on the water

Are you the ideal Packraft Ranger or Guide?

You’ll likely recognize yourself in several of the following qualities:

• You can work independently
• You are social, hospitable, and naturally interested in people
• You are solution-oriented and can solve problems autonomously
• You have a passion for nature and can share that enthusiasm with others
• You speak German as your mother tongue, you also speak English, Dutch or French is a plus
• You hold a Category B driving license
• A First Aid certificate and experience in group leadership, packrafting, or hiking are a bonus

Timeframe

We are looking for people who are available for at least 3 consecutive weeks between April and mid-September. As a guide in Slovenia or the Balkans, you can start from mid-June through September.
